COST & FINANCIAL AID

21.800€, for MCH2025, to be paid prior to the beginning of the course.

The cost of the study trip (transport tickets, hotel reservations, visits and shuttle buses) is included in the tuition fee.

Personal expenses will not be covered in any case.

The payment may be completed in four payment terms:

1. 1.000 € Reservation fee. Non refundable, to be paid 7 days after receiving the admission letter.
2. 7.000 €, first payment.
3. 7.000 €, second payment.
4. 6.800 €, third payment. Tuition fee completed.

For the second, third and fourth payments, a personal payment calendar will be defined, according to the admission date.

This section includes a list of outside scholarship programs as well as scholarships’ agreements between MCH and several institutions. 
Further agreements are being currently developed, so we encourage you to check this section regularly, as well as looking for financial support in your own country with academic institutions or the government. 

MCH Scholarships

• SPANISH CHAMBERS Scholarship. These scholarships are meant to financially support 2 outstanding candidates who are members of any Spanish Architects Chamber. It offers a 50% discount in their MCH teaching fee. Eligible candidate should send their application through the APPLY online form, writing down "Spanish Chambers Scholarship" in the comments area.
• Excellence Scholarship. This scholarship is meant to financially support 1 outstanding candidate, and it is opened to candidates from all over the world. It offers a 50% discount in their MCH2023 teaching fee. Eligible candidates should send their application through the APPLY online form, writing down "Excellence Scholarship" in the comments area. Because of the high quality of the portfolios received, the academic committee has decided to award a second Excellence Scholarship on an extraordinary basis. On this occasion, this scholarship has been shared ex-aequo between 2 participants, representing a 25% discount of the total amount of the MCH2023 teaching fee for 2 participants plus the 50% discount for 1 more participant. All the Excellence Scholarships for the MCH2024 edition have already been awarded.
• Diversity Scholarship. This scholarship is meant to financially support 1 outstanding candidate born or living in Africa. It offers a 50% discount in his/her MCH2023 teaching fee. • COAM Scholarships. These scholarships are meant to financially support 3 outstanding candidates who are members of the Madrid Architects Chambers (COAM). It offers a 50% discount in their MCH teaching fee. Eligible candidates should send their application through the APPLY online form, writing down "COAM Scholarship" in the comments area.

• Facultad de Arquitectura, Universidad ORT Uruguay. Available for graduates of that Architecture School.
• Conacyt and Funed (Mexico). Covers tuition fee and living allowance. 
• Colfuturo (Colombia). Offers loans and scholarships. 
• Anandamahidol Foundation (Thailand). Covers tuition fee and living allowance. 
• ERANET (Russia).  Covers tuition fee and living allowance, insurance, travel costs. 
• Fulbright U.S. Graduate Grant (U.S.A.). Covers 10.500 dollar. 
• Japan / Worldbank scholarship program (residents from developing countries, check their website for the complete list) - tuition fee, living allowance, insurance, travel costs. 
• LPDP Indonesia Endowment fund for Education (Indonesia). 
• Mahmoud S. Rabbani Fellowship (Arabic countries, see their website for the full list). Covers 12.500 dollar. 
• MCIT / Beasiswa Kemkominfo (Indonesia). Covers tuition fee, living allowance, insurance, travel costs. 
• Orange Tulip scholarship (China). Coverage differs per country. 
• Science without Borders Holland (Brazil). 
• Stuned Scholarship Program (Indonesia). Covers tuition fee, living allowance, insurance and travel costs.
• Thai Government Scholarship (Thailand). Covers tuition fee, living allowance, insurance and travel costs. 
• BECAL (Paraguay).  
• Bildungskarenz (Austria). For architects that are currently working in Austria and have been for some time, it lasts a maximum of one year.
