Architect by the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM-UPM).

 

From 2003 until 2005 Architect at Burgos & Garrido arquitectos.

From 2005 until 2011, Architectural Project Coordinator of the MRÍO Arquitectos team, winners of the international competition for the urbanization of the banks of the Manzanares River after the burial of the M-30 (MRÍO arquitectos is formed by the Burgos & Garrido Arquitectos, Porras & La Casta Arquitectos and Rubio & Álvarez-Sala Arquitectos).

From 2011 until 2016, Architectural Project Coordinator at Burgos & Garrido Arquitectos.

Since 2017, Architectural Project Coordinator for the Plaza de España renovation project.

Since January 2013, Associate Professor at the School of Architecture of the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares (UAH), Urban Planning and Territorial Department, where he teaches Urbanism levels 1, 2 and 3 and Landscape Architecture.

He has also taught in the 1st and 2nd editions of the Master in City Sciences at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), in the 7th and 8th editions of the Master in Collective Housing at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), in the Master in Environmental Management at IE and in the Master in Advanced Architectural Projects (MPAA) at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM-UPM).

He has given numerous lectures on urban subjects in different forums such as the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU / e), Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Alcalá, Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Granada, Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, Universidad Europea de Madrid, Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, Facultad de Arquitectura de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, at the Kent State Forum on the City Symposium and at the ‘Thinking the Edge, Water and Culture’ meeting in Istanbul among others.

As researcher he has developed the following works: Lessons from the Randstad, research project developed in the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU / e); Andalusian Landscape, research project funded by the Junta de Andalucía (in collaboration with the architect Daniel Zarza); Wolkenbügel 1924-1925, research project carried out with the architects Francisco Burgos and Ginés Garrido on the horizontal skyscraper of the Soviet architect El Lissitzky for the exhibition Absent Architectures of the 20th Century.

As Architectural Project Coordinator at Burgos & Garrido Arquitectos he has obtained first prizes in national and international competitions such as: Madrid Río, Restoration of the Pilgrimage Route of Santiago (ferreiro-o pino section, Galicia), New Contemporary Art Wing for the Lima Art Museum, Dwellings at Bolshoy Nikolovorobinsky 9 (Moscow, Russia), Municipal Theater at Casas Ibáñez (Albacete), 54 Social Dwellings at Paseo de la Cuba (Albacete), 58 Social Dwellings at Obispado (Albacete), as well as other awards, such as: Recovery of Tajo and Alberche rivers in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo, second prize), Multifunctional Complex Development of the Territory Adjacent to the Sofia Embankment (Russia, third prize), Moscow River’s Adjacent Territory (Russia, third prize), Place d'Armes Yverdon-les-Bains (Switzerland, selected), CAN Bogotá City Project (Colombia, third prize), New Pedestrian Bridge and Urban Environment (Ljubljana, Slovenia, honorable mention).
