Judith LECLERC (Montréal, 1967) B.Arch. Mc Gill University, Montréal (1992), Architect ETSABarcelona (2002). Postgraduate in Architecture and Sustainability (2015). Teaches Architectural Design at the ETSABarcelona since 2010 and has been Guest Professor at N.Y City College, Montréal, Calgary and Mc Gill universities.

 

In Barcelona, together with Jaime Coll, she founded CollLeclerc. Their office is highly committee to new social programs: their TMB Park, a pioneer man-made park on the roof of a bus depot, their Londres-Villarroel mix-use building and their recent Mix Dwelling Building in Poblenou, Barcelona’s first housing and shelters combined. Their work has been featured in more than 300 articles and at several Venice and Spanish Biennials.


In 2007 they received simultaneously the City of Barcelona Architecture Prize, the IX Spanish Biennial and the National Housing Awards and were selected by Herzog & De Meuron-Ai Weiwei for the Ordos 100 project in China. They have received the AVS award for best Spanish Public Housing twice, the last for their recent Mix-Dwelling Building in Poblenou, also awarded the Mapei and Arquitectura S+ sustainability prizes, the Architecture Masterprize and a nomination to the Mies van der Rohe awards
