PAOLA LEENHOUTS

Paola Leenhouts holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with a specialisation in human geography and anthropology from University College Roosevelt (The Netherlands) and graduated in 2019 from the Erasmus Mundus 4Cities Master's Degree with a thesis on sub-Saharan migrations, informal economy and urban governance in Madrid. She has international work experience on local public policies concerning technology at the european level. She currently works as a hired researcher in the COMURES-CM programme while she pursues her PhD in Sociology and Anthropology (UCM). Her research topic deals with the role and social dimension of space in the articulation of migrant networks and migrants' rights social movements.
