SUSANA ISABEL

Her knowledge of all stages of transformation of the urban environment, from conceptualization to construction, is very valuable to achieve truly viable projects. Susana is an Associate Director in Arup. She holds the position of Property Advisory Leader in Spain Group.
She has wide experience in masterplanning, developing sustainable and innovative strategic urban projects. Her role in such projects is as integrator and lead of multidisciplinary teams working for public and private entities. Her holistic approach enriches the projects by providing a global and comprehensive vision, sensitive to the needs of a particular territory, maximizing the value of the proposal for all stakeholders involved.
She is Arup’s global champion in the application of the SDGs to urban development and her aim is to develop climate ready liveable cities. The combination of her urban planning and civil engineer skills and her background in construction projects, provides her with the capacity of combining her visionary strategic thinking with a deep understanding of the real challenges of implementation.
