PEDRO BENTO ALMEIDA

Pedro Bento d'Almeida (1994) is an architect based in Lisbon. He studied at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa and École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He worked with Christ & Gantenbein, Basel (2017-2018) and Lacaton & Vassal, Paris (2021-2023) and established his own practice in 2023.
He won several grants and awards including a scholarship from Fundación Arquia, Barcelona for recently graduated architects (2019) and a publication grant from Fundação Serra Henriques, Lisbon to publish his master’s thesis in book form (2020).
He was a guest tutor at Università Roma Tre (2023) and a jury member for an architectural competition at Villa Medici: The French Academy in Rome (2023).
