JAVIER DORAO

Head of Innovation at Crea Madrid Nuevo Norte, the main urban developer of the Madrid Nuevo Norte project, considered the most relevant urban regeneration project in Europe. 

With more than 10 years of experience in the sector, he has worked to decarbonize cities and make them smarter, analyzing how new technologies and the future regulatory framework offer a business opportunity. In this sense, he has contributed his knowledge in various roles in a research center, an engineering company and an urban developer. He has also worked in training, directing the Smart Cities master's degree at the Universidad Internacional Isabel I and as a guest lecturer in several masters´s programs. 

He is a Civil Engineer with a Master in Sciences in urban planning and a Master´s in City Sciences. He is also LEED Acredited Professional in BD&C.
