The MCH Professor Carmen Espegel became Chair Professor of the School of Architecture of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which is the highest teaching position at the University. She presented her research project to a highly qualified jury who highlighted her high level of engagement with architecture, teaching, building, and research. The second available position was assigned to Prof. Luis Martínez Santa María.

It was a very hard competition for them, as the three other competitors were Xavier Monteys, Alfonso Muñoz, and Javier Maroto, who also presented their work in a brilliant way.

The jury was formed by Pere Joan Ravetllat, Blanca LLeó, Juan Carlos Arnuncio, Eduard Bru, and Julio Grijalba.

Prof. Espegel is the Leader of the MCH Housing Projects Specialty which is beginning in March 2019.

The MCH Team congratulates Carmen for this great achievement, which will represent an improvement for her as a professor, for the MCH as one of the programs she is participating in, and mostly for her students.

For us, it is a huge privilege to count on her as one of our regular professors during all our editions.
