José María de Lapuerta, director of the MCH, has participated as a lecturer in the event Split Talks 2018, organized by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy of the University of Split. Prof. José María de Lapuerta' lecture was named “It’s a wonderful life’, and architecture will make it even better", and it was scheduled for last Friday, October 5th.

 

The event took part in Split from October 04th to October 11th, 2018. It included conferences by different Professors and also student workshop sessions.

Founder and co-director of the Master in Collective Housing. Chair Professor of Architectural Design of the School of Architecture of Madrid ETSAM, UPM. Honorary professor at the University of Montevideo. Director of the Master in City Sciences (MCS), ETSAM, UPM.

 

In addition to his position as Chair professor at the ETSAM and Director of the MCH, he is director and coordinator of the Ph.D. courses of the doctoral program agreement between the Universidad de La Repúblia de Uruguay and Universidad Politecnica de Madrid. He has also been director of the Summer School of the UPM, coordinator of the Master in Interior Design of the ETSAM and coordinator of the Socrates-Erasmus agreement with the Slovak University of Technology. He has been Ph.D. director of several thesis and final thesis tutor at the ETSAM, UPM. In the professional field, he is the founder and CEO of DL+A architects.

MAS in Collective Housing UPM/ETH

The Master of Architecture in Collective HousingMCH, is a postgraduate full-time international professional program of advanced architecture design in cities and housing presented by Universidad Politécnica of Madrid (UPM) and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). Next edition of the MAS in Collective Housing will start in January 2019, and the application period is opened.
