The international study trip of the MCH 2019 edition has already finished and it was really successful. From May the 5th to May the 10th, the MCH participants were visiting the incredible city of Zurich for a full-week trip where buildings subject of study, housing-related institutions and universities were visited, accompanied by architects and/or experts.
In addition, participants participated in different architecture lectures at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH of Zurich as part of different modules of the MCH 2019.
Students from the MCH program have described the trip as an amazing experience and have provided very positive feedback.
Many feel that this trip has enabled them to gain an enhanced knowledge of housing standards and professional office structures which will help them in developing their business plans and getting new potential clients. They also appreciated the opportunity to interact with successful architects and professors teaching at ETH Zurich, such as Andrea Deplazes, Anne Lacaton, Annette Gigon, Patrick Gmür, Momoyo Kaijima, among others.
When back in Madrid, participants were extremely motivated, with new ideas about housing, architecture, and city, that can be developed at the following modules and workshops of the MCH.
In previous editions, MCH has travelled to The Netherlands, France, United Kingdom, and Switzerland. MCH has established collaboration agreements with ETH Zurich, Architectural Association in London and TU Delft, fostering the interaction between teachers and students.
The flights, accommodation, architecture visits and public transport tickets are included in the MCH tuition fee (personal expenses are not).
