Daniel Sorando

Sociology, Economy and Politics

Daniel Sorando earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Granada, before studying his Master’s in Population, Society and Territory at Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), his Master’s in Research Methods in Social Sciences at Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas, Madrid, and a Ph.D. in Urban Sociology at UCM. Daniel Sorando was also a Visiting Scholar at the University of Brown. His research focuses on social structure, residential segregation and urban policies. He teaches at UCM, where he has worked in several R&D projects. As a result of his research he has published several articles and book chapters in scientific journals and collective works.
