Ignacio Fernández Solla

Ignacio Fernández Solla is an architect with a career developed in façade design and technology. Since 2004 he leads the Façade Engineering team in Arup Spain, with ongoing projects in Europe, Latin America, Middle East and the USA. His experience is focused on lightweight and energy-efficient envelope solutions: curtain wall systems, rain screen façades, operational energy control and responsive façade systems. With his team Ignacio is currently working on projects with Norman Foster, Jean Nouvel, Richard Rogers, Juan Herreros and Richard Meier, among others.

Ignacio has been visiting lecturer of building envelope at the School of Architecture, Princeton University.
