About #Untagged Magazine

The #Untagged magazine is an annual publication showcasing the exceptional work produced by the various cohorts of the Master’s in Collective Housing (MCH), jointly offered by the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH). This magazine serves as both a reflection of the academic achievements of its students and a testament to the program’s commitment to advancing the study and practice of collective housing.

Each edition of #Untagged is uniquely curated, with a student chosen to lead the editorial process. This individual is selected based on their academic excellence and demonstrated expertise in graphic representation. Acting as the editor, the selected student collaborates closely with faculty and peers to compile the most significant projects, reviews, and reflections from the year. The magazine is available in both digital and physical formats, allowing it to reach a broader audience. It also features interviews with students, faculty, and guest architects, providing insights into the methodologies, challenges, and innovations explored throughout the program.

In addition to the printed publication, the MCH website dedicates a section to #Untagged, further enhancing its accessibility and impact. This section serves as an archive of past editions, offering a rich repository of architectural discourse centered on collective housing.

Our aspiration is that #Untagged becomes more than a magazine—it is envisioned as a platform that amplifies our shared vision of architecture. By emphasizing the values of teamwork, sustainable design, and thoughtful urban living, the publication seeks to inspire current and future architects. It is a celebration of the collective effort, rigorous design thinking, and innovation that define the MCH program. Through #Untagged, we aim to make visible the dedication to architectural excellence that is at the core of our educational mission
