MCH Ranked Best Master’s in Architecture and Urbanism in Spain by El Mundo
We’re honored to share that the Master in Collective Housing (MCH) has once again been recognized by El Mundo as Spain’s #1 Master’s program in Architecture and Design for the ninth straight year.
Each year, El Mundo publishes a ranking of the top postgraduate programs in Spain, evaluating academic excellence, faculty expertise, professional connections, and student satisfaction. MCH’s top ranking in this category confirms the program’s strong reputation and continuous commitment to shaping the next generation of architects and urban thinkers.

Jointly organized by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and the ETH Zurich, MCH offers an intensive one-year experience that brings together students from around the world. The program is built around collective housing, sustainability, and innovative urban design, while also evolving to include essential 21st-century topics such as leadership, office management, and the integration of artificial intelligence in architecture.
This recognition reflects the hard work of our faculty, guest professors, and the inspiring contributions of our students and alumni over the years. We are honored to see MCH highlighted as a leading academic platform not only in Spain but across the global architectural education landscape.
Thank you to everyone who continues to shape the MCH experience with vision, generosity, and passion for design.
