Exhibition “30 Years of Architecture for People with Disabilities”
New Exhibition in Chile Celebrates 30 Years of Inclusive Architecture by MCH director José María de Lapuerta.
The Faculty of Architecture, Design, and Urban Studies (FADEU) at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile recently inaugurated the exhibition, “30 Years of Architecture for People with Disabilities,” led by acclaimed architect José María de Lapuerta. Open from October 16 until December 2, 2024, at the Galería Lo Contador, this exhibition spotlights three decades of architectural innovation and dedication to inclusive design in Spain.
Through this compelling showcase, visitors can explore a range of architectural projects tailored to meet the needs of individuals with various disabilities, particularly cerebral palsy. The exhibition also highlights spaces designed for elderly care and centers for occupational training and special employment, illustrating de Lapuerta’s broad impact on architecture for social good.
About José María de Lapuerta:

José María de Lapuerta’s current team includes partners Paloma Campo Ruano and, previously, the late Carlos Asensio Galvín, with the support of Iranzu Marina, Marina von der Linden, and architecture student Pablo Sánchez.
