What is November Talks?

Live Lectures and Open Dialogue

November Talks, Madrid Edition is a public lecture series that brings together leading and emerging voices in contemporary architecture for live talks and open discussions on the future of the built environment. Hosted by the MCH Master in Collective Housing at ETSAM, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and supported by the STO Foundation, the event connects students, architects, researchers, and urban professionals with current debates in international building culture and architectural theory.

Since 2006, November Talks has been held at leading European universities, offering participants direct insight into the latest trends, challenges, and visionary approaches within the discipline. The Madrid edition focuses on topics central to contemporary practice, including sustainability, design methodology, construction processes, social responsibility, collective housing, and urban transformation.

Each session combines a lecture with an interactive dialogue, allowing attendees to ask questions, exchange ideas, and engage directly with the speakers. By linking architectural theory with professional practice, November Talks, Madrid Edition creates a space for critical reflection and new perspectives on architecture, cities, and collective living.
