Ed Manley

Urban Design and City Science

Dr Ed Manley is an Associate Professor and Director of Research at the Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA), University College London, and Turing Fellow at the Alan Turing Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. He is author of the book ‘Agent-based Modelling and Geographical Information Science’, recently published by Sage, Associate Editor of the Applied Spatial Analysis and Policy journal, and chairs the GIScience Research Group at the Royal Geographical Society. Ed is multidisciplinary researcher, a computer scientist and quantitative geographer by training, and received his Engineering Doctorate from University College London in 2013.
