Esperanza Campaña
Esperanza Campaña holds a Ph.D. in Architecture with Summa Cum Laude from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and is an alumni of the Master in Collective Housing (2009). She is co-founder and partner at SALTO Proyectos, an architecture and engineering office she leads with Gustavo Rojas. The practice works across housing, public buildings, and retail, and has been awarded several prizes, including winning entries in Europan, the Melilla Social Housing, the Ibiza Conservatory of Music, and the Navas de San Juan Theatre competitions. The studio is committed to developing resilient and purposeful architecture with long-term impact.
She is currently a lecturer and guest examiner at Umeå School of Architecture in Sweden, and a Specialty Professor at the MCH Master in Advanced Studies in Collective Housing at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, where she has been a full-time researcher and has taught in several Graduate Design Studios within the Department of Architectural Design.
Alongside her professional and academic work, Esperanza is a tutor at San Telmo Business School, where she supports business owners and senior executives in their training in business administration, with a focus on strategic thinking and long-term vision.
