Iria López Carreiro

Architect (B.Arch) (M.Arch, hons) (ARB) and Urban Designer (Master in City Sciences).

Currently, Iria works at the European Institute of Innovation & Technology – Urban Mobility. As part of the City Club team, her goal is to explore the multidimensional challenges that European cities face to encourage sustainability. At the same time, she is developing her PhD at the Transport Research Centre (TRANSyT) at the Technical University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid – UPM, Spain) in the fields of urban and transport planning. 

Earlier on, Iria has been working as a researcher at TRANSyT, where she has participated in multiple national and international research projects.
