Luis Perea

Luis Perea is a PHD Architect and Economist. His PhD research, «Towards a quantitative analysis of the Informal City. An approach from the Basic Habitability and the experience in Makeni (Sierra Leone)», stems from the theory of Basic Habitability and provides tools for urban planning in developing areas.

As a free professional Luis Perea has collaborated in several planning projects for Taller de Ideas office. In 2003 he became founding member of EquipoBloqueArquitectos and has worked for the public administration as municipal architect in the city of Yeles (Toledo). Since 1999 he is teaching Urban Planning at San Pablo CEU University.
