Architect, Urban Planner, Professor of Rome Sapienza University

Awarded by the Institute of Japan Architecture 2014 Prize

Vice President of the ANCSA (Associazione Nazionale Centri Storico Artistici) 

Since 1998, she is scientific director for the nomination of several Italian sites on the World Heritage List (Assisi, Val d’Orcia, Mantua and Sabbioneta, Villas and Medicis Gardens of Tuscany). She was the scientific director of the related Management Plans too and continues to act as director for their implementation

Currently, she is the scientific and coordinating director for the nomination of the Via Francigena   and for the nomination of the cultural Landscape of Chianti Classico in Tuscany Region.

 

She is author of several publications, researches and projects on active conservation of the historic centres and cultural landscapes.
