Beatriz Sendin

Beatriz Sendín (Burgos, Spain, 1976) architect and urban planner (UPM 2003), partner & co-director of n’UNDO organización since 2013, combining professional practice with research and teaching. Her career spans sustainable and resilient urban planning, decarbonization, and architectural intervention, having received recognitions, such as the Spain’s National Urbanism Award (2022, CSCAE).

She brings extensive international experience as a technical consultant in humanitarian aid, crisis management, and informal settlements for organizations such as the Red Cross and IOM, and for public entities as the Ministry of Inclusion and Migration of Spain. She is a specialist in evaluating and developing emergency shelter responses and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) programs for natural disasters and conflicts (postearthwakes, migration crisis and others). As a professor and guest lecturer at numerous universities, she has also been invited to speak at congresses on human settlements, closely linking territory regeneration with global humanitarian challenges.
