Annette Helle

Housing Practice

Annette Helle was born in Oslo (Norway) in 1965. She studied at ETH in Zurich (Switzerland) with a guest semester at TU in Delft (Netherlands).

Since 2010 she has been professor of design and construction at FHNW University of Applied Sciences in Basel, from 2019-2022 she is also the head of the Institute of Architecture.

Based in Zurich, her office HELLE ARCHITEKTUR is primarly concerned with residential projects at various scales. These include private commissions for new buildings and conversions as well as projects for cooperative housing developments resulting from competition successes.
