Irene Lebrusán

Sociology, Economy and Politics

Irene Lebrusán holds a Ph.D. in Sociology (UCM, 2017). Her postdoctoral research at Harvard University (2018-2020) focused on the Right to Housing. She worked as an Advisor (2020-2022) at the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Government of Spain (National Office of Foresight and Strategy, authors of “Spain 2050”).

Her dissertation «Housing in Old Age» received the Prize for Research in Urban Economics (Council of Madrid, 2017) and, after public tender, was published by CSIC in «Politeya. Studies of Politics and Society». She has teaching experience in different universities and has worked as a researcher in interdisciplinary research groups since 2009, focusing on housing and urban issues, among other lines of research.
