Javier Guerrero García
Architect trained at ETSAV-UPC, with a Master’s degree in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Barcelona, where he teaches the course Artificial Creativity. He has also led six courses focused on artificial intelligence and architecture at ETSAV, BAI and IL3-UB, some of them in collaboration with MIAUTICS. He has worked alongside architect and designer Guillermo Santomá and, since 2024, has developed his own practice as an independent architect through projects in architecture and research. His work focuses on bringing technical and academic sources into creative research contexts, exploring uses that differ from their original applications. In particular, he investigates the use of latent spaces as tools for organizing and analyzing information, as well as ways of intervening in these models to make less evident relationships between elements visible.
