Jose María García-Pablos Ripoll

Urban Design and City Science

José Mª García-Pablos Ripoll is an architect with a degree in ETSAM/1969 and an Urbanist from IEAL, has focused his activity mainly on the analysis and proposals of structure and urban form, and as a professor in different Schools of Architecture and since 1999 in the UEM. Urbanism Reward National in 1983 for the Madrid Urban Planning -as a member of the Management Team- and in 2005 for the Fuenlabrada Urban Developments. Commissioner of the Debate Stages  and Editor from 2005 to 2018 of “Urban Perspectives”-1/9, he has recently published “Bocethos Album: Urban Calligraphs” (2018) and “Cities with Project-I” (2019) and participated in “The Urbanism of the transition: the  Madrid Structure Plan of 1985” and “Mario Gaviria: thought, work and projection”, both in 2019.
