Phd Architect, graduated at the Technical School of Architecture of Seville (ETSAS) in 1985.

Together with Sara de Giles, they form MGM Morales de Giles Arquitectos.


MGM’s work has received, among others, the followings awards: 2017 International Spanish Architecture Award, 2013 Spanish Architecture Award, AIT Award (2012, 2014), Finalists for the Mies van der Rohe Award (2001, 2009). NAN Award (2012), Sánchez Esteve Award (2008), Social Housing National Award of the Spanish Architects Association (2003), XIII Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (XIII BEAU), and at the X Iberoamerican Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism (X BIAU).


He have given lectures and been guest professor at many universities, such as:, Universidad Internacional de Catalunya, Barcelona (Spain), Architectural Asociation of Ireland-Instituto Cervantes, Dublín (Ireland), Institut Français d’Architecture, Paris (France).Universidad Católica Santiago de Chile,University of Applied Sciences Hochschule de Bochum (Germany), etc.
