JULIA LANDABURU

URBAN DESIGN & LANDSCAPE

Julia Landaburu has developed her career around design, specialising in the elaboration of proposals for comprehensive urban renewal developments that accentuate the positive impact in terms of sustainability in the territory.
She has coordinated several multidisciplinary projects of different scales at national and international level, both for the public and private
sector, from analysis, integrated design and strategic planning, to the development of strategies for implementation. He experiences includes
her involvement since 2016 with Distrito Castellana Norte, being part of the Technical Office responsible for the sustainability strategy and their Sustainability Integrated Action Plan and then coordinating for DCN the Madrid Nuevo Norte Landscape Framework and LEED for Communities Plan and Design Pre-Certification. She is also the manager of Arup partnership with the World Building Council for Sustainable Development.
Julia focuses on the alignment of projects with the initiatives and objectives of cities and their engagement with their communities in their ambition to become more inclusive and resilient in the context of climate change, socio-demographic challenges and disruptive technologies.
