SONIA MOLINA METZGER

Sonia Molina Metzger (Madrid 1973), studied Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and worked at different Architecture Offices in Spain. In parallel, she completed specific trainings related to Humanitarian and Development work.

Following the Tsunami in 2005 she spent 2 years in Indonesia managing different shelter and reconstruction projects with the Red Cross Society (RCS). Since then her professional experience has been focussed on Emergency, Reconstruction and Slum upgrading. She lived in different countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa mainly working with RCS and NGOs.

At the present she is working as Independent Consultant specialized in Settlements/Shelter and Water/Sanitation.
